2016 Nanophotonics Core to Core Workshop was held SINICA, Taiwan
Many members of the Global Nanophotonics CORE to CORE Program participated the Workshop held at Research Center for Applied Sciences (RCAS), Academia Sinica on December 27, 2016. The members were Prabhat Verma, Junichi Takahara, Takuo Tanaka and Atsushi Ishikawa on topics shown in the Fig. They Lab toured and discussed with Eirector Din Ping Tsai, RCAS, Academia Sinica.
Kick-off symposium "Global Nanophotonics 2016" was successfully finished
The "Global Nanophotonics 2016" symposium was held at Osaka International Convention Center during November 30 – December 1, 2016, as the kick-off symposium of this Core-to-Core Program. Many researchers and students from partner institutions in other 10 countries (China, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea, India, Australia, UK, USA and Hong Kong) and Japan got together in Osaka with exchanging their latest research and discussing about the further promotion of the program. For this two-day symposium, we had a total number of 115 participants that included researchers and students with 22 oral presentations and 58 poster presentations. We believe that the symposium provided wide-ranging discussion with enthusiastic atmosphere and the significant opportunity to know their field each other further.
